Cynthia was last seen leaving her job at the FAA in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on June 2, 2016. The Moore Police Department investigated her disappearance. On February 1, 2018, her body was found on a drilling site southeast of the Wayne/Payne exit on I-35 in McClain County, Oklahoma.  MMAC Employee is Missing The McClain County Sheriff’s Office conducted the initial investigation into her murder, and it was later turned over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. OSBI is perfectly capable of solving Cynthia’s murder. All it will take is someone willing to come forward and provide a tip. I grew up in Purcell, Oklahoma, which is the county seat of McClain County. The area where Cynthia was found is isolated and pitch black during the overnight hours. Facebook page removal.

On September 29, 2024, I removed the Facebook page due to ongoing security issues. It was a business page that allowed me to run ads about Cynthia's murder. The account contained my credit card information. Human remains discovered by oil field worker in rural McClain County.

(KOKH) — Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating after human remains were found in a rural area of McClain County. A worker made the gruesome discovery Thursday morning on a drilling site near I-35 and S.H. 59. “Deputies were sent down here and myself and we found what we believe was human remains, skeletal remains,” said McClain County Sheriff Don Hewett. The remains were in a wooded area just a hundreds yards from the oil drill. Sheriff Hewett believes the body had been there at least six months. Investigators couldn’t tell if it was a man or woman. “However, we did find female clothing in the area, but we do not know if it was tied into this,” Hewett said. The McClain County Sheriff’s Office reached out to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to help with the case. National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims.

Rest in peace, Cynthia. In 2007, Congress designated Sept. 25th as the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims.

Murder victim ID’d.

Sep 5, 2019 Skeletal remains found in early 2018 by an oil field worker southeast of the Wayne/Payne exit on I-35 were a 31-year-old Moore woman who died of blunt force trauma to the head. The Office of the State Medical Examiner released a summary report ruling Cynthia Garcia’s death a homicide. The bones, together with clothing, jewelry and bedding, were discovered Feb. 1, 2018, by the worker who was taking a bathroom break. Authorities estimated at the time the victim was killed 1 to 2 years earlier. The bones, which had been scattered by animals, were found in trees about 100 yards west of a work over rig and approximately 100 yards east of the interstate. The location was approximately 1/4-mile east of the exit to State Highway 59 and then south on a lease road. Moore Family Concerned About Safety Of Missing Woman.

June 7th, 2016.  A Moore family is hoping someone can help them find a loved one missing for the past five days. The family of Cynthia Garcia filed a missing person report with the Moore Police Department. The 29-year-old was last seen leaving her job at the FAA in southwest Oklahoma City on Thursday at 4:45 p.m. Her car was found in her garage at her home in Moore, but Garcia hasn't been seen since Thursday. Garcia's brother Miguel Garcia said on Friday a text message to her supervisor indicated she would not be coming to work. Another text message to her daughter's father also said she was not feeling well and would pick up her 7-year-old daughter Sophia on Saturday. She never showed up and her phone is turned off. Miguel said his sister is in the midst of a divorce from her husband Rodrigo Torres, but does not believe he knows what happened to her. What is most alarming is she would never leave without telling family, nor would she leave her daughter without checking in ...
