Cold cases aren’t closed cases.
Cynthia was last seen leaving her job at the FAA in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on June 2, 2016. The Moore Police Department investigated her disappearance. On February 1, 2018, her body was found on a drilling site southeast of the Wayne/Payne exit on I-35 in McClain County, Oklahoma. MMAC Employee is Missing
The McClain County Sheriff’s Office conducted the initial investigation into her murder, and it was later turned over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. OSBI is perfectly capable of solving Cynthia’s murder. All it will take is someone willing to come forward and provide a tip.
I grew up in Purcell, Oklahoma, which is the county seat of McClain County. The area where Cynthia was found is isolated and pitch black during the overnight hours. You literally can’t see your hand in front of your face. It would be easy for the killer to access this area undetected under the cover of darkness.
Suspects/Persons of Interest.
Based on a tip I received in 2021, which I believe was credible, it appears that the person who is likely responsible for Cynthia’s murder was someone she knew. The tipster indicated that they had previously provided this information to OSBI. Due to legal and ethical implications, I will not publicly name this individual.
