 If you were at or near the Wayne/Payne exit on I-35 between June 2–5, 2016, and saw anything unusual, such as parked vehicles that appeared to be out of place or drilling site activity, contact the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-522-8017 or tips@osbi.ok.gov. Cynthia's body was found approximately 1/4 mile east of the exit to State Highway 59 and then south on a lease road.

Murder victim ID’d.

Sep 5, 2019 Skeletal remains found in early 2018 by an oil field worker southeast of the Wayne/Payne exit on I-35 were a 31-year-old Moore woman who died of blunt force trauma to the head. The Office of the State Medical Examiner released a summary report ruling Cynthia Garcia’s death a homicide. The bones, together with clothing, jewelry and bedding, were discovered Feb. 1, 2018, by the worker who was taking a bathroom break. Authorities estimated at the time the victim was killed 1 to 2 years earlier. The bones, which had been scattered by animals, were found in trees about 100 yards west of a work over rig and approximately 100 yards east of the interstate. The location was approximately 1/4-mile east of the exit to State Highway 59 and then south on a lease road. Moore Family Concerned About Safety Of Missing Woman.

June 7th, 2016.  A Moore family is hoping someone can help them find a loved one missing for the past five days. The family of Cynthia Garcia filed a missing person report with the Moore Police Department. The 29-year-old was last seen leaving her job at the FAA in southwest Oklahoma City on Thursday at 4:45 p.m. Her car was found in her garage at her home in Moore, but Garcia hasn't been seen since Thursday. Garcia's brother Miguel Garcia said on Friday a text message to her supervisor indicated she would not be coming to work. Another text message to her daughter's father also said she was not feeling well and would pick up her 7-year-old daughter Sophia on Saturday. She never showed up and her phone is turned off. Miguel said his sister is in the midst of a divorce from her husband Rodrigo Torres, but does not believe he knows what happened to her. What is most alarming is she would never leave without telling family, nor would she leave her daughter without checking in
